The National Dance Championships, Glor, 7th and 8th April 2018

​A big congratulations to Gemma Godber who placed joint 2nd in the ballet solos age 16-19, 2nd in the class performance awards and joint 3rd in the lyrical/contemporary solos with a beautiful dance that she choreographed herself. Gemma was also over the moon to be awarded the Shawbrook Summer School Ballet Scholarship.
​Next up is Alannah Sweeney. 
Congratulations to Alannah who placed joint 2nd for her ballet solo in the 16-19yr category and who was also awarded the Úna Donlon Memorial Cup for performance and musicality. So proud! 💗
​Next we have Tara Casey. Congratulations to Tara who placed 1st in lyrical/contemporary aged 13-15yrs, with a very moving piece that she choreographed herself, 2nd in the ballet solos and 3rd in the class performance awards. Well done Tara!
​Next up we have Eloïse De Sousa. Congratulations to Eloïse who placed 1st in Ballet Solos 13-15yrs, 1st in class performance and Highly Commended for her lyrical solo which she choreographed herself. Well done Eloïse!
​Next up we have Ella Bliss. Congratulations to Ella who placed joint 3rd for her ballet solo in the 13-15 age category. Well done Ella!
​Next we have Áine Moynihan. Congratulations to Áine who placed 1st for her ballet solo in the 10-12yrs category, joint 2nd for class performance and joint 2nd for her lyrical solo which was choreographed by Jean O' Donoghue. Well done Áine!
​Next up from the National Dance Championships we have Judith Egan. Congratulations to Judith who placed 1st for class performance aged 10-12yrs, joint 3rd for her ballet solo and Highly Commended for her lyrical solo which she choreographed herself. Well done Judith!
​Congratulations to Aisling Hammond who was awarded the Ballet Ireland Summer School scholarship at the recent National Dance Championships. Well done Aisling! We're delighted for you!
 
​Next up is Hannah Costelloe who placed joint 2nd in all three of her categories, 10-12yrs lyrical solos, ballet solos and class performance in ballet. Hannah's lyrical solo was choreographed by Jean O' Donoghue

​Congratulations to Scarlett Williams who was Highly Commended for her ballet solo in the 10-12yrs category at the recent National Dance Championships. Well done Scarlett!
Congratulations to Emily Connolly on her success at the recent National Dance Championships. She placed 1st for her ballet solo age 7-9yrs, 1st in class performance and 2nd for her lyrical solo which was choreographed by Jean O'Donoghue. Well done Emily!
